How to reserve a puppy:
Thanks for your interest in our puppies. Please take the time to read this paragraph if you're interested in purchasing one of our puppies. As I'm sure everyone is aware, finding a puppy is always a challenge but with the current pandemic, things are even harder for everyone involved. In order to be 100% sure everything is just right in every aspect of our business and with the dogs and puppies, we do everything ourselves with the exception of grooming the adult dogs. A close family friend helps out with that. With that being said, it's a lot of hours to put in, even under normal circumstances, but with the huge increase in interest in puppies during this time, fielding calls, texts and emails has been very challenging in itself. You can be sure I'm doing my absolute best to respond to everyone, but I'm just one person and I'm sure I make mistakes and leave things out. I'm creating this page in hopes that people will have most of their questions answered here.
In order to reserve a puppy, you can contact me to get on a list to be notified when we are accepting deposits on a litter, usually around 3-4 weeks old. You need to contact me for an application to be approved before picking up your puppy. Our number one priority is finding our puppies the best homes, so please do not be offended if we feel you are not the best suited home for them. We are not unreasonable with our requirements at all and are very easy to work with but please understand that we need to know that our puppies will have the best possible life. We will accept deposits after the puppies are born and you will choose your puppy in the order your deposit was received. You may specify gender if you want to but if you are only interested in a specific gender, you need to let me know. In the two breeds we specialize in, there really aren't any consistent differences between a male and a female. Deposits are $400 and are NONREFUNDABLE. Your deposit is non-transferable. Please understand this before requesting an invoice. Please pay your invoice promptly or we do need to move on to the next in line since many people are waiting. We request that the balance of your puppy be paid in cash when you pick him up.
We are closed for visits before picking up your puppy. We can TRY to get you videos or set up a video call but we cannot guarantee this. If we allowed everyone interested in a puppy to visit without a deposit and before the puppies are ready, we would not have time to take care of the dogs. We get a lot of interest in our dogs daily and just fielding the calls, emails and texts is a job in itself.

First of all, congratulations on your decision to add a new member to your family! This is a big decision and we will be here to help you with the process from start to finish.
We do have a page on the site to help guide you with things to purchase Preparing for Your New Puppy. Please check this out and let us know if you have any questions. Our FAQ page also has a lot of information.
Please know that our cell phone service is VERY unreliable (and we've tried several carriers) and internet is limited to our cell service. The BEST way to contact us is texting. A lot of times I have enough service to text but not call. I am able to make calls if I need to, but I need to go where I get enough service. If you text without a response, please email as well as sometimes texts don't come through.
A note about pictures:
We understand that you like to see pictures of your puppy as it grows. However, this has become quite a burden to us. If you reserve your puppy at one week old then ask for pictures twice a week, that is 18 pictures and text messages for you, just about pictures. If your litter has 6 puppies and everyone does that, it's 108 pictures and messages, minimum, for one litter, just regarding pictures! We have had people asking for pictures as much as every two or three days. I love to keep my customers happy but this has just gotten out of hand. Due to this, we have decided we will take a picture by request at 7 weeks ONLY. You MUST text me when your puppy is that age to remind me. Please do not ask for pictures at any other age. Thank you for understanding that in order to ensure the best care for our puppies, we do everything ourselves and we are trying to make sure we can socialize and start your puppy out the best possible way.
We look forward to working with you and making your puppy-buying experience go as smoothly as possible!
Coming to pick up your puppy:
Please let us know as soon as you can what day you'd like to pick up your puppy. We will do our best to be flexible but please understand that if there are 6 or 7 others coming the same day, the scheduling can be tight. We are only allowing one family in our office at once so we can properly sanitize in between families. We are sometimes limited in the days we can be available for pickup, so you may need to try to work with us with that. If I am unable to personally be here, I will get your puppy and paperwork ready and have another family member here to give your puppy to you and I'll be available for questions by phone.
We usually schedule each family 30 minutes apart so please try to keep your appointment if at all possible. If someone else is here when you arrive PLEASE stay in your car until you are directed to come in. We've been having people get out and walk around while they are waiting and it's really difficult to try to sanitize everywhere you might have been. :-) While we never really have a day off, we are closed to customers every Sunday. This is the only day we set aside time strictly for faith and family. We still work that day (animals!) but it's the only day we slow down a little.
Please try to let us know as soon as you can when you plan to pick up your new puppy. We will do our best to work with you but please keep in mind that we also have a large family with lots of activities for our kids. They are involved with sports, several of which require us to be gone for a weekend at a time every once in a while. I do my best best to personally meet each person at the kennel but if you must come on a sports weekend, please be open to the fact that someone else may be there to give you your puppy. I will personally get everything ready and am available for questions by phone. This happens most often in April through September. We are VERY flexible during the week and can be available almost anytime at all on a weekday.
You can expect your puppy to be freshly bathed, nails clipped, ears cleaned as well as have a little maintenance trim. Each puppy comes with a packet that includes his blankie with the scent of mom and siblings, a sample of treats and dog food from Life's Abundance as well as all health records from our vet. You can expect your new puppy to get car sick on the first ride home but if you forget paper towels for cleanup, we provide those as well!
