July 25, 2011: The H-VAC contractor began work last week. There are four central air units outside the kennel and several large units of some sort inside. The new system is very high-tech so we aren't sure exactly what phase of the project they are on now. We were so thankful for the cool whelping area this past week with the high temperatures. The dogs don't even want to go outside!!
June 25, 2011: After a VERY busy few months, our new whelping area is in use and is almost completed. New mothers now have even more privacy and are able to go outside freely. We are so happy with the new set-up. The electricians have started to run the new electrical lines for the H-VAC system that is being installed in our kennel. The contractor putting the system in will start in a few weeks. We have several new litters born and more on the way. Watch each breeds page for more pictures that will be posted next week. Looking forward to meeting several families today who will be taking their puppies home!

April 5, 2011: The truck arrived this evening with our new whelping building. We are so excited to finally get it here. We've been planning it for months. The building will allow us to have more room for our nursing mothers and their puppies and will also give them a little more privacy than our current set-up. It does need some work and needs to be finished, but it's here and we can now start the process. Check back here to see pictures and updates in the very near future!!

March 31, 2011: Flower, a black and white Shih Tzu, gave birth to a beautiful litter of five Shichons (or Teddy Bears or Zuchons as some people refer to them). There are five adorable puppies. Pictures will be posted by April 17th. We are starting to think that Spring is finally here with all these new babies we are having all of the sudden!

March 29, 2011: Very early this morning, we had a gorgeous litter of Shichon puppies born to Olive, a Shih Tzu, and Dudley, a Bichon. They are very colorful and ALL SIX ARE BOYS!! Very unusual...Pictures will be posted by April 17th.

March 29, 2011: Late this evening, a beautiful litter of Puggle puppies was born to Jessie (a Beagle) and Zeus (a Pug). This was Jessie's first litter so we had to be there to monitor everything. She wasn't sure what to do at first but by the time the last two puppies were born, she was a pro. After sitting with her for several hours until almost 1 am, we were both relieved when the last puppy was born, fat and healthy! She has six beautiful puppies, two girls and four boys. One boy and one girl are reserved leaving one girl and three boys still available. We don't usually post pictures of the puppies until they are about two weeks old but we will be posting pictures by this coming Friday, April 9th.
